Release the Craicen

Release the Craicen was formed in 2017. It is a classic Celtic rock band that features traditional acoustic instruments. The band finds inspiration from the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy, Great Big Sea, and two of their favorite local bands The Langer's Ball and St. George's Folly.

They named their band after the Irish Gaelic word “criac”, pronounced as “Krak. It translates loosely into an expression of fun!
