Volunteer Role Information

There are many types of opportunities available. We can help you find one that is best suited to your interests and ability. We always welcome new volunteers or groups that would like to volunteer together. We do prefer volunteers 16 and older due to the nature of some of the work but will work with families to see if there are good options.  Learn more about volunteer roles here.

Volunteer Perks 

Besides good will and fun, you get perks! Volunteer benefits include, but are not limited to:  free admission on the day you work or another day if you work the last shift of the day, a cool t-shirt, snacks,soda and water, a beverage ticket, free parking and a volunteer appreciation party after the Fair. This just in: This year we will conduct drawings for prizes including 2 staycations with dinner, a hotel and bottle of whiskey in either Stillwater or St. Paul (value $500 apiece) plus a Yeti cooler, gift cards, whiskey and Irish Fair and other sponsor merchandise.  The more you work, the more you increase your chances of winning.  First shift gets you one entry, the second shift adds another two entries and so on!
