The HiBs

Saturday and Sunday

The HiBs is pronounced as High Bees and the name somewhat comes from the Roman term for Ireland, Hibernian. More honestly though, the name truly comes from their favorite pub in the world, The HiB, in Cork City! Kate Dowling plays the flute and whistle, Jode Dowling plays the fiddle, and Patsy O’Brien sings and plays the guitar! Together they play traditional Irish music masterfully!

Kate and Jode Dowling founded the prominent Irish music school, The Center for Irish Music, in 2004. Patsy O’Brien is a singer, songwriter, and guitar player in many different bands and is very well regarded in the music industry.
