Tug of War Competition
Tug of War has long been part of Irish competitions. Each year, DJs Tug of War Team, an internationally competing pulling team from Lakeville, helps the Fair with our Tug of War competitions. This year all pulling will take place on Saturday, August 13th. A regional competition of amateur pullers starts at 1:30. Check out several teams from the Upper Midwest as they vie for entry into the US National Tug of War Championships.
At 4pm, it is your turn. Novice pullers get a chance to test their strength in the Irish Fair Tug of War Pub Challenge. The Tug of War Pub Challenge Flyer 
has more details. Get a few friends together or come as an individual and well get you on a team. You don't need to be big. Strength and stubbornness is what counts here.
