2nd Annual Irish Arts Week

7:30-10:00pm  Adam Coolong Rebel Songs       

Cork’s Pub Embassy Suites in St. Paul - free   

Adam Coolong, of the Wild Colonial Bhoys, has been interested in Irish history & politics for most of his life. He has amassed a deep repertoire of political & rebel songs that he performs regularly. Adam & the Bhoys just returned from a USO tour of the Middle East performing their latest album Century.   





7:30–9:30pm  Tom Dahill & the Pig’s Eye Ceili Band Fundraiser                                    

The Celtic Junction Arts Center - $10 donation at door

This fundraiser will take the Céili Band to the 2017 Midwest Fleadh Cheoil (music competition) in St. Louis. If they attain first or second place, they will travel on to compete in the 2017 Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland in August.

Celtic Collaborative present a reading of new writing with Jessica Mork , Jacqueline Hesse, Erin Hart, Paddy O’Brien & other local writers in the Eoin McKiernan Library.

The Celtic Junction Arts Center - $5 at door 

Join us for the CD launch party for the debut release from The Northerly Gales, featuring a mixture of original compositions & both modern & traditional Celtic & American covers & arrangements. Together was largely funded by TNG’s fans & supporters through a crowd-funding campaign, was produced by John Wright & TNG, & released through New Folk Records. Opening acts The Langer’s Ball & the Unwelcome Visitors.
