Getting to the Fair

Directions to the Fair

Harriet Island is located just across the river from Downtown St. Paul.

Directions from the West

Take I-94 eastbound to St. Paul to Hwy 52 south. Follow Hwy 52 south to the Plato Blvd. exit. Take a right onto Plato Blvd.


Directions from the East
Take I-94 westbound to St. Paul to Hwy 52 south. Follow Hwy 52 south to the Plato Blvd. exit. Take a right onto Plato Blvd.

Directions from the North
Take 35E southbound to St. Paul to Hwy 52. Follow Hwy 52 south to the Plato Blvd. exit. Take a right onto Plato Blvd.

Directions from the South
Take 35E northbound, then take the Kellogg Blvd exit. Take a right on Kellogg Blvd and follow to Wabasha Street. Take a right onto Wabasha Street to go over the bridge. Turn left on Fillmore to get to the East Lot, or turn right onto Plato Blvd to get to the West lot.

Getting to the Fair

Not only is the Fair FREE, thanks to our partnerships with Metro Transit, Union Depot and Jefferson Lines you can get to the Fair for FREE!

Attendees can take the Metro Transit Green Line or a bus to Union Depot and take the free Jefferson Line shuttle. The shuttle will pick up Fair attendees at Union Depot on Kellogg Blvd between Wacouta Street and Wall Street.


Please catch the FREE Jefferson Lines shuttle at Union Depot on Kellogg between Wacouta Street and Wall Street. Watch for the Jefferson Line signs at Union Depot. Remember, parking is just $5 at Union Depot and you can catch the free shuttle to the Fair!

Parking at the Fair

There is limited parking along Plato Blvd. from Wabasha Street West toward the park. Many private businesses near the park open their parking lots to the public, most charging a fee.
You can also park in downtown St. Paul and walk across the Wabasha Street Bridge to the festival.
Handicap parking is available on the north side of Water Street between Wabasha and Plato Blvd. until full.
There is no general parking on that stretch of Water Street, but it is open to drop people off at the Main Entrance.
The parking lots on Harriet Island are not open to the public during the festival.
