Runners, walkers, kids, Irish clans and families will love the beautiful 5K course on Shepard Road along the Mississippi River, the Irish Fair of Minnesota presents "Get Your Green On 5K" Family Fun Run and Walk (formerly known as The Run With the Celts). Runners and Walkers – Get Your Green On!!

It is a new route in 2012 – you'll head down the very popular scenic route along the Mississippi River directly across from Harriet Island on Shepard Road.
Transportation to Start / Finish line for partipants to and from Harriet Island. Bus will leave Harriet Island main gate at 8:15AM. Padelford Boat ride – Water Taxi service back at approximately 10:30AM.

Perhaps you don't know what a 5K is?!! You're in perfect shape for the 1st Annual IRISH COUCH POTATO ZERO-K on Saturday, August 10th, come by the Sports Field between 5:30p-6:30p! That's right, the starting and finish lines are only THREE FEET APART! There is absolutely no running allowed! Everyone wins a free pint and snacks!

Parking is available along Plato Blvd. from Wabasha Street heading west towards Harriet Island. Please be aware that most parking lots do charge for parking. Handicap parking is available along the northside of Water Street between Wabasha Street and Plato Blvd. The parking lots on Harriet ISland are not open to the public during the festival.
