Best Legs in a Kilt Contest Winner – Lou Conroy
RULES OF ENTRY
The Best Men’s Legs in a Kilt Contest is open to men of all ages. You must comply with the rules below and visit the IMDA booth in the Community Organizations Pavilion by 2PM on the Saturday of the festival to register. This contest is hosted by the Irish Music & Dance Association and the prize is a sash, title and bragging rights only.
Rules:
1. Each contestant must be male and wearing a tartan style or contemporary style kilt. Sporran, kilt hose, Flashes, ghillie broughs, boots, etc. are optional attire and not required to be a contestant.
2. The categories will be:
- Best Legs in a Kilt
- Best Distinguished Gentlemen Legs in a Kilt
- Best Youth Legs in a Kilt
- Best Chicken Legs in a Kilt
- Hairiest Legs in a Kilt
- Other categories may be added at the discretion of the contest organizers
Categories will close when entry slots are full. Register early.
3. No portion of the contestant’s attire or behavior may contain explicit or offensive material or actions. Undergarments must be worn under kilt. No contestant may be carrying any dangerous weapons as part of their attire.
4. Each contestant must complete his registration form by 2pm Saturday, August 11th to receive entry into the contest. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED.
5. Voting and Final decisions are made by a panel of celebrity judges. The votes will be tallied and the contestants with the highest number of votes in each category will be summoned to appear on stage for the final voting for the title of overall “Best Legs in a Kilt”. The contestant that receives the highest votes shall be proclaimed the winner of the competition. All decisions are final.
6. By entering the Best Legs in a Kilt Contest you are giving your permission for use of any/all photos IMDA or Irish Fair my take for publicity purposes.
